Most stores between €10k and €100k monthly revenue think this because they compare against industry-standard retainers (€4k to €15k per month). Our rate is €3,500 per month. A conversion lift of 0.2% on €30k revenue already covers us — everything above is pure profit. If we can't earn back our own fee through CRO, we're doing something wrong, and you don't need us.

We hear this a lot. Three typical causes: tests were based on what the store owner suggested, not what the data says. Or templates from other stores' case studies were copied 1:1. Or — and this is the most common case — the CRO consultancy delivered a PDF with recommendations, and then everything got stuck with the external dev team that had other priorities. With us, there's no such gap: we do research, concept, and implementation ourselves. No test goes live without prep, none sits idle after.

No. That's exactly what sets us apart from pure CRO consultancies. We come from the engineering side: frontend, Liquid, Shopify apps, custom backend when a test needs it. We conceive and build. You don't need an internal dev team, a second agency, or a freelancer for implementation. A test decided on Monday is often live by Friday, because we skip the handoff.

You can. The question is whether you want to. CRO is a full-time job that most store owners do on the side — and therefore do poorly. You've got products, marketing, logistics, customer service. Hand CRO to someone who does nothing else. And: if you're under 10,000 visitors per month, we actively recommend doing the obvious UX fixes in-house first, because at that traffic level A/B testing won't reach statistical significance anyway. Under 10,000 visitors per month, you're right: A/B testing won't give you reliable numbers. The lever for you is a one-time research audit. We compare your store against documented A/B tests from the Baymard Institute and show you the obvious leaks — no test needs to go live. After that, you decide whether a retainer makes sense.

First quick wins usually within two to three weeks after the audit. Real statistical significance on A/B tests takes two to six weeks depending on traffic. You need at least 100 conversions per variant before the data holds. Anyone promising “we'll double your CR in 30 days” isn't doing the math.
